Gulf & Atlantic Railways, LLC owns and operates five short line/regional railroads – Florida Gulf & Atlantic Railroad (FGA), Grenada Railroad (GRYR), Camp Chase Railway (CAMY), Chesapeake & Indiana Railroad (CKIN), and Vermilion Valley Railroad (VVRR). Gulf & Atlantic Railways, LLC offers freight services, transloading, railcar storage and industrial development opportunities.
History
Gulf & Atlantic Railways, LLC was formed in 2018 and quickly acquired Grenada Railroad, a 228-mile short line, located in Mississippi. Shortly thereafter the Florida Gulf & Atlantic Railroad, a 430-mile short line, was purchased from CSX Transportation.
