Jeff Castle - Gulf & Atlantic Railways

AVP & General Manager, FGA

Jeff Castle joined Gulf & Atlantic Railways in May 2023 as the Assistant Vice President and General Manager of the Florida Gulf & Atlantic. In this capacity, he is responsible for the safety and efficiency of the Operating Unit of FGA.

Mr. Castle brings 21 years of experience in the Rail Industry to the Gulf & Atlantic in which all 21 years have been in Operating roles from the Trainmaster to Superintendent levels in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and the Northern Regions at CSX where his career began, to General Manager roles with the GWRR for 7 years.

Mr. Castle is also a Military Veteran serving 5 years on active duty with the United States Marine Corps and 3 years with the Army National Guard. He holds a BS Degree from Marshall University and is a BLP Graduate from the University of Maryland’s, Robert H. Smith School of Business. In addition, he is also a member of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association.
